1. When You Can Submit a Request
You may contact us if you believe content on FreeWishes:
- infringes your copyright;
- uses your image, writing, artwork or other work without appropriate permission;
- has been incorrectly attributed;
- violates your privacy;
- contains personal information that should not be public;
- falsely represents you;
- infringes trademark or other intellectual-property rights;
- contains materially inaccurate information about you;
- violates another legal right;
- is otherwise inappropriate for publication for a legitimate reason.

- AI-assisted content

- Other public FreeWishes content
3. How to Submit a Removal Request

Where available, you may also use the Report Content / Request Removal form on FreeWishes.
Please include enough information for us to identify and evaluate the reported material.
4. Information We Need
Please provide:
- Your full name
- Your contact email
- The exact FreeWishes URL
- A clear description of the content concerned
- The reason for your request
- The legal or factual basis for the request where relevant
- Supporting links, documents or screenshots where helpful
- Information showing ownership or authority where applicable
If you are acting for another person or organisation, please explain your authority to do so.
5. Copyright Requests
For copyright-related requests, please identify:
- The copyrighted work
- The allegedly infringing material
- The page where it appears
- Your relationship to the copyrighted work
- Why you believe the use is unauthorised
We may ask you to confirm that:
- you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its representative or applicable law;
- the information in your request is accurate; and
- you are the rights holder or authorised to act for the rights holder.
6. Image and Photograph Removal
If you believe your photograph, likeness, artwork or image has been used improperly, please provide:
- The relevant page URL
- Identification of the image
- Your relationship to the image
- The reason for requesting removal
- Supporting evidence where available
Where appropriate, FreeWishes may remove, replace, blur, restrict or otherwise modify the material.
7. Privacy and Personal Information Requests
You may request review of content that exposes personal information such as:
- Private contact details
- Personal identifiers
- Sensitive personal information
- Private photographs
- Other information that may create a legitimate privacy concern
Please explain why the content should be removed or restricted.
Privacy-related requests may also be handled under our Privacy Policy.
8. Attribution Corrections
You may request correction where:
- Your work has been attributed to someone else
- Someone else's work has been attributed to you
- A quote is incorrectly attributed
- The original creator or source has been omitted
- Attribution is materially misleading
Where supported by evidence, FreeWishes may:

- Add attribution

9. Trademark and Brand Complaints
If you believe content improperly uses your:

- Logo
- Brand identity
- Trade name
please provide:
- The relevant URL
- The mark concerned
- Evidence of your rights
- Explanation of the alleged infringement
FreeWishes will review legitimate trademark concerns in context.
10. Defamation or False Information
If you believe FreeWishes contains materially false information about you or your organisation, please identify:
- The specific statement
- The relevant page
- Why the statement is false
- Supporting evidence
We may correct, qualify or remove material where appropriate.
11. AI-Generated Content Complaints
If AI-assisted or generated content appears to:
- reproduce your protected work;
- contain inappropriate personal information;
- misattribute content;
- create a legitimate rights concern;
please report the exact output or page.
FreeWishes may review, modify or remove the material where appropriate.
12. What Happens After You Submit a Request
After receiving a sufficiently detailed request, we may:
- Acknowledge receipt
- Review the reported content
- Review available source information
- Request additional information
- Contact relevant contributors or service providers where appropriate
- Temporarily restrict access in appropriate cases
- Correct or update the content
- Remove the content
- Decline the request
- Take another reasonable action
The appropriate response depends on the nature of the complaint and applicable law.
13. Removal Is Not Automatic
Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee removal.
FreeWishes may decline or limit a request where:
- The claim is unsupported
- The requester lacks authority
- The material is lawfully used
- The material is public domain
- An applicable legal exception applies
- The content is factually accurate and lawfully published
- The request is abusive or fraudulent
- Other legal rights support continued publication
We may still voluntarily remove material where appropriate.
14. Possible Outcomes
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- Remove the content
- Correct the content
- Correct attribution
- Add context
- Replace an image
- Restrict visibility
- Disable a link
- Remove search visibility
- Keep the content unchanged
- Take another proportionate action
15. Temporary Restriction
In urgent or credible cases, FreeWishes may temporarily restrict disputed content while a review is underway.
This does not mean that the claim has been accepted.
16. Requests for Additional Information
We may ask for additional information where:
- Ownership is unclear
- Identity requires verification
- The request is incomplete
- Legal rights are disputed
- The relevant content cannot be located
Failure to provide sufficient information may prevent us from completing the review.
17. False or Fraudulent Requests
Do not submit:

- Misleading statements
- Harassing complaints
- Requests intended solely to suppress lawful criticism or information
FreeWishes may reject abusive requests and take appropriate steps to protect the platform and affected parties.
18. Good-Faith Review
FreeWishes aims to review legitimate complaints fairly and in good faith.

19. Counter-Requests

Removing content from FreeWishes does not necessarily remove copies from:
