“I don’t want you to give me from your abundance, I want that you give me until it hurts.”
“If we are not willing to give whatever it takes to do good to one another, sin is still in us.”

“We have been created in His image for greater things, to love and to be loved.”
“What I can do, you cannot. What you can do, I cannot. But together we can do something beautiful for God.”
“The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread.”
“I am like a little pencil in his hand. That is all. He does the thinking. He does the writing. The pencil has nothing to do with it.”
“By blood, I am Albanian. By citizenship, an Indian. By faith, I am a Catholic nun. As to my calling, I belong to the world.”
“I am everything. Every country I love and I am a child of God to love the humans.”
“When you do that, there is joy, unity and love.”
“I see God in every human being. When I wash the leper's wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Is it not a beautiful experience?”

“I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love.”
“We are misunderstood, we are misrepresented, we are misreported. We are not nurses, we are not doctors, we are not teachers, we are not social workers. We are religious, we are religious, we are religious.”
“Love is a fruit in season at all times, and within reach of every hand. Anyone may gather it and no limit is set.”
“Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.”
“We are called upon not to be successful, but to be faithful.”
