Who was Guru Nanak Dev Ji?
Guru Nanak taught that there is one God, that all people are equal, and that an honest life of work, sharing and remembrance is the way to live. His birth anniversary is celebrated every year on Kartik Purnima as Guru Nanak Jayanti, or Gurpurab.
